Job Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.
  • Promote workplace safety culture among maintenance teams.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments.
  • Assist supervisors in preparing daily job safety analyses.
  • Verify that all personnel possess required certifications and work permits.
  • Support proactive HSE audits and inspections.
  • Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor safe execution of maintenance activities on production facilities.
  • Enforce permit-to-work procedures and safety standards.

Electrical Maintenance Operations

  • Organize and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Supervise electrical maintenance technicians and contractors.
  • Coordinate with specialists operating under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC).
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment failures and production interruptions.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed according to company procedures and industry best practices.
  • Maintain operational reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Manage maintenance work orders through CMMS and SAP systems.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Respond effectively to emergency breakdown situations.
  • Support commissioning, testing, inspection, and maintenance activities.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead multinational maintenance teams in a professional manner.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and skills development programs.
  • Verify quality and effectiveness of completed maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular field inspections and performance reviews.
  • Promote teamwork and operational excellence.

Maintenance Planning & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze recurring equipment failures and maintenance trends.
  • Recommend improvements to preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with support departments regarding spare parts availability.
  • Suggest modifications and technical upgrades where necessary.
  • Contribute to maintenance optimization initiatives.

Education Requirements

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • BTS / DUT
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Diploma in Electrical Maintenance
  • Equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance

Additional technical certifications in industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, maintenance management, or offshore operations will be considered advantageous.
