Job Summary

The Draftsman will play a key role in supporting engineering teams by preparing and maintaining accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for a potable water treatment plant project. Key Duties and Responsibilities (JD)

The Draftsman will be responsible for:

Technical Drafting & Design

• Preparing, developing, and updating 2D and 3D technical drawings for mechanical and civil works associated with a potable water treatment plant.
• Producing detailed engineering drawings including layouts, cross-sections, elevations, technical details, and as-built documentation.
• Creating accurate AutoCAD 3D drawings and Revit-based models for project execution and coordination.
• Supporting drawing revisions based on engineering modifications, technical comments, and site feedback.

Engineering Coordination

• Coordinating with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
• Supporting multidisciplinary project collaboration to integrate engineering systems effectively.
• Reviewing project specifications and engineering documents to ensure design alignment.

Documentation & Quality Compliance

• Ensuring drawings comply with engineering codes, project standards, and drafting procedures.
• Maintaining organized document control for drawing revisions, approvals, and project files.

Project Support & Site Coordination

• Supporting on-site engineering teams through timely preparation and updating of technical documentation.
