Job Description

The Water Treatment Plant O&M Specialist will lead the operation, maintenance, optimization, and technical performance of 14 Drinking Water Treatment Plants (DWTPs). The role requires advanced expertise in water production systems, operational efficiency, maintenance planning, asset management, water quality compliance, and health & safety standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

Water Treatment Plant Operations Management

• Lead operations and maintenance of 14 Drinking Water Treatment Plants (DWTPs) across Luanda and Icolo & Bengo.
• Assess and improve plant operational efficiency and system performance.

• Optimize technical water use, reagent consumption, and energy efficiency.

• Manage and supervise a team of 12 operational and technical staff.

Maintenance & Asset Management

• Implement predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance systems.

• Introduce and manage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for asset tracking and maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure accurate equipment registration and maintenance documentation.

• Maintain strong relationships with project partners and stakeholders.
