Job Overview
The Green Infrastructure Developer will design, implement, and manage sustainable urban development projects in Cacuaco, Angola. This role requires expertise in green construction practices, urban planning, and environmental impact assessment to create resilient infrastructure that supports Angola’s climate action agenda. The position is ideal for professionals passionate about merging engineering excellence with environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute green infrastructure projects, including eco-friendly buildings, permeable pavements, and urban green spaces.
- Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and environmental scientists to integrate sustainable design principles.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
- Ensure compliance with national and international sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to deliver projects on schedule.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and GIS tools.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable construction materials and energy-efficient systems.
- Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing urban layouts.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Urban Planning. A Master’s degree in Sustainable Development is a plus.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in urban development, green infrastructure, or environmental engineering. Prior project management experience in Angola or neighboring regions is preferred.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
