Job Overview
Ericsson Angola is seeking a highly skilled 5G Network Optimization Specialist to join its dynamic team in Cunene. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize 5G network configurations to maximize performance and user experience.
- Analyze network data to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate 5G solutions with existing infrastructure and emerging technologies.
- Conduct site surveys, capacity planning, and traffic analysis to support network scalability and coverage.
- Provide technical support for network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in 5G and telecommunications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in 5G network design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications protocols, RF engineering, and network performance metrics.
- Proficiency in network simulation tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet) and optimization software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or certifications (e.g., 5G Network Optimization, RF Engineering) preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on 5G network optimization.
- Experience in Angola’s telecommunications sector or similar emerging markets is advantageous.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
