Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for retail clients.
• Develop detailed budgeting and forecasting models to support client growth strategies.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports, dashboards and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Angolan accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control policies.
• Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to deliver integrated financial solutions.
• Support client meetings, presentations and workshops with clear financial insights.
• Monitor market trends and retail industry developments to inform analytical approaches.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of retail financial operations, inventory management and sales analytics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience
