Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for retail clients.
- Develop detailed budgeting and forecasting models to support client growth strategies.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, dashboards and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
- Ensure compliance with Angolan accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Support client meetings, presentations and workshops with clear financial insights.
- Monitor market trends and retail industry developments to inform analytical approaches.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of retail financial operations, inventory management and sales analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in financial analysis, preferably within the retail or consumer goods sector. Experience with multinational retail clients and exposure to Angolan tax and regulatory frameworks will be considered a strong asset.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and annual salary reviews are part of the compensation package.
