Job Overview

The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of TotalEnergies’ CSR strategy in Malanje and the broader Angola region. Reporting to the Regional CSR Director, the manager will work closely with operations, legal, communications, and external stakeholders to ensure that CSR initiatives are aligned with corporate goals and local community needs. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing TotalEnergies’ reputation, fostering community trust, and delivering sustainable outcomes that support economic development and environmental protection.

Key performance indicators include successful project delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, compliance with national regulations, and measurable social and environmental impact. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR strategy that aligns with TotalEnergies’ global sustainability framework and Angola’s national development plans.
• Identify, prioritize, and manage community projects in areas such as education, health, renewable energy, and livelihood improvement.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement, building strong relationships with local authorities, NGOs, and community groups.
• Monitor, measure, and report on the social and environmental impact of CSR initiatives using recognized metrics and standards.
• Prepare annual CSR reports, case studies, and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
• Ensure compliance with Angolan regulations, international standards, and TotalEnergies’ internal policies.
• Collaborate with the communications team to promote CSR successes through media, social platforms, and corporate channels.
• Manage the CSR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost‑effective project delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong project management and analytical skills with a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks, such as GRI, UN SDGs, and ISO 26000.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, or International Development is highly desirable. Professional certifications such as CSR‑CP or PMP are considered a plus.

Experience

Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in CSR, sustainability, community development, or related fields, preferably within the energy sector or large multinational corporations operating in emerging markets. Demonstrated success in managing multi‑stakeholder projects and delivering measurable social impact is essential.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 Angolan Kwanza (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and benefits are included as part of the total compensation package.
