Job Overview
The Agribusiness Development Manager will lead strategic initiatives to expand Bunge’s footprint in the southern region of Angola. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with local farmers, cooperatives, and government agencies, and driving the implementation of value‑added services that increase productivity and profitability. The manager will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including supply chain, finance, and sustainability, to ensure alignment with corporate goals and local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new agribusiness opportunities in Ondjiva and surrounding provinces.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies that align with Bunge’s global standards and local needs.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with farmers, cooperatives, NGOs, and government bodies.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing models, and service agreements to secure sustainable supply chains.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient transport, storage, and processing of agricultural commodities.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare detailed business cases, forecasts, and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Promote sustainable farming practices and support capacity‑building programs for local producers.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Portuguese and English.
- Proven experience in agribusiness, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of Angolan agricultural policies, trade regulations, and market dynamics.

Education
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in agribusiness, supply chain, or sustainability is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably within an international agribusiness or food processing organization operating in emerging markets. Demonstrated success in developing new markets, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering measurable growth results is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 Angolan Kwanza (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives, health benefits, and a comprehensive retirement plan.
