Job Overview

The Solar Farm Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of Enel Green Power’s solar assets in Benguela, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and financial efficiency. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, coordinating maintenance activities, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all operational activities of the solar farm, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor plant performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to maximize energy output.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and Enel Green Power’s safety protocols.
  • Manage relationships with local authorities, grid operators, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop and control the operational budget, tracking OPEX and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management and external partners.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverter technology, and grid integration.
  • Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.

Education
