Job Overview
The Digital Banking Product Owner will lead the end‑to‑end development and delivery of Banco BIC’s digital banking suite, including mobile apps, online banking portals, and emerging fintech integrations. Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product roadmap for digital banking channels, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and prioritize user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality features.
- Monitor product performance metrics, user analytics, and feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Coordinate with compliance and risk teams to embed security and regulatory controls throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with marketing to develop go‑to‑market strategies, launch campaigns, and user education programs.
- Manage relationships with external fintech partners, vendors, and technology providers.
- Ensure seamless integration with core banking systems and third‑party services.
- Champion a customer‑centric culture, advocating for intuitive design and exceptional user experience.
Required Skills
- Strong product management expertise in digital banking or fintech environments.
- Deep understanding of banking regulations, data security, and compliance frameworks in Angola.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a specialized fintech certification will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must have at least five years of proven experience managing digital products within a banking or financial services context. Demonstrated success in launching mobile banking applications, online platforms, or fintech collaborations is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 Angolan Kwanza (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and profit‑sharing incentives are also part of the total rewards structure.
