Job Overview
This role is critical to ensuring compliance with national and international environmental regulations while maintaining a safe working environment in mining operations. The position requires a proactive approach to risk mitigation, environmental monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates will contribute to Angola’s mining sector growth while upholding ethical and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of mining operations to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans for mine sites.
- Collaborate with local authorities and communities to address environmental concerns.
- Monitor air, water, and soil quality to prevent ecological degradation.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to reduce risks.
- Provide training to staff on safety protocols and environmental best practices.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Angolan mining and environmental legislation.
- Proficiency in environmental impact assessment tools.
- Strong analytical skills for risk evaluation and reporting.

Education
