Job Overview

We are seeking a Marine Biodiversity Data Analyst to join our team in Namibe. This role involves analyzing complex datasets to assess marine ecosystem health, identify conservation priorities, and support policy development. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze marine biodiversity data from satellite imagery, acoustic sensors, and field surveys.
  • Develop predictive models to assess the impact of human activities on marine ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with local and international researchers to publish findings in scientific journals and policy briefs.
  • Design interactive dashboards for stakeholders to visualize marine biodiversity trends.
  • Conduct fieldwork to validate data accuracy and gather additional samples.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis.
