Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team in Luanda, Angola. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support urban planning and environmental monitoring initiatives in Angola.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial science, with experience in data analysis and interpretation. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
As a Geospatial Data Analyst with Ordnance Survey International, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to the development of Angola’s urban planning and environmental monitoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support urban planning and environmental monitoring initiatives in Angola
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and data models to support data analysis and interpretation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop data collection plans
- Provide data analysis and interpretation support to urban planning and environmental monitoring projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Required Skills
- Strong background in geospatial science, with experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with geospatial software and tools, including ArcGIS and QGIS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in geospatial data analysis
