Job Overview

As a Blockchain for Social Impact Specialist, you will design and implement blockchain solutions to support social innovation projects in Angola. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in blockchain development and a passion for creating positive societal change. You will collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and local communities to build decentralized systems that enhance accountability, traceability, and efficiency in social programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop blockchain-based platforms for social impact initiatives, such as aid distribution, education access, and environmental sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify social challenges and translate them into blockchain-driven solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards for blockchain security, data privacy, and ethical practices.
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders, including training on blockchain tools and platforms.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of blockchain projects through data analytics and stakeholder feedback.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in blockchain development (Solidity, Ethereum, Hyperledger).
  • Strong understanding of social impact frameworks and sustainable development goals.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in blockchain development (e.g., IBM Blockchain, Ethereum Developer) are a plus.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in blockchain technology, with a focus on social or public sector applications.
  • Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, or international organizations is preferred.

Salary

2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
