Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Solutions Developer to join our team in Mbanza Kongo, Angola. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital forestry solutions for our customers, including forest inventory and monitoring systems, as well as data analytics and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement digital forestry solutions for customers, including forest inventory and monitoring systems, data analytics and visualization tools, and other related software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including regular communication and support.
• Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives and strategies.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience in software development, preferably in the forestry or environmental technology industry.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with geospatial technologies, including GIS and remote sensing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in software development, preferably in the forestry or environmental technology industry.

Salary: 5000-10000 SSP per month.
