Job Overview

The Logistics Coordination Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the movement of goods through Bolloré’s Dundo hub. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that shipments are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with local regulations and international standards. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal departments, external carriers, customs authorities, and client representatives to optimize routes, manage inventory levels, and resolve any operational issues that arise. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Monitor cargo status using transportation management systems (TMS) and provide real‑time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage customs clearance processes, liaise with authorities, and ensure compliance with Angolan import/export regulations.
• Optimize routing and carrier selection to achieve cost‑effective solutions without compromising service levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the Dundo warehouse, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, escalating issues when necessary to senior management.
• Prepare performance reports, KPI dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to align logistics solutions with client expectations.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, suggesting process enhancements and technology upgrades.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to throughout all logistics activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, freight forwarding, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management software.

Education

Applicants must have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, preferably within a multinational environment. Experience in the Angolan market or similar emerging economies is highly desirable.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and allowances aligned with company policies.
