Job Overview

The Marine Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless movement of cargo between sea and land, ensuring that shipments are efficiently planned, executed, and monitored. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed cargo movement plans that integrate sea freight, inland trucking, and rail options.
• Monitor shipment status in real time, proactively addressing delays, bottlenecks, or documentation issues.
• Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with Angolan maritime and trade regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo manifests, container tracking, and freight invoices within Maersk’s digital platforms.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide transparent updates and resolve client inquiries.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives by optimizing routing, consolidating shipments, and leveraging economies of scale.
• Support safety and environmental protocols, ensuring all operations adhere to Maersk’s sustainability standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of maritime logistics, port operations, and inland transportation networks in Angola.
• Proficiency in logistics software such as Maersk Spot, TMS, or comparable systems.

• Effective communication skills in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal.
