Job Overview

The Satellite Network Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and managing MTN Angola’s satellite communication infrastructure, ensuring reliable backhaul connectivity for remote sites in Dundo and surrounding areas. This position involves close collaboration with the Radio Access Network (RAN) team, satellite vendors, and regulatory bodies to develop robust network architectures that meet performance, cost, and compliance requirements. The role is essential for supporting MTN’s expansion strategy, enabling high‑speed data services in regions where terrestrial fiber is not yet feasible.

As part of the Network Engineering department, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end planning, from feasibility studies and link budget analysis to implementation and performance monitoring.
