Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lifecycle assessments and carbon footprint calculations for industrial clients
- Develop customized emission reduction roadmaps aligned with ISO 14064 standards
- Collaborate with clients to implement energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions
- Prepare detailed sustainability reports for regulatory compliance and public disclosure
- Monitor emerging carbon pricing mechanisms and sustainability legislation in Angola
Required Skills
- Proficiency in carbon accounting software (e.g., Carbon Trust, SimaPro)
- Strong analytical skills with Excel and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Angolan environmental regulations and international sustainability frameworks
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and technical reporting
- Bilingual (Portuguese/English) preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Professional certification in carbon management (e.g., PCMS) is an asset
Experience
- 3-5 years in environmental consulting, carbon footprint analysis, or sustainability project management
- Proven experience working with industrial clients in Angola or Southern Africa
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
