Job Overview

SPIE Global Services Energy is hiring a skilled CNC Operator (M/F) to support machining and manufacturing activities for oil and gas equipment in Luanda. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in CNC machining, OCTG components, and precision industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines for precision machining of oilfield components
  • Work with oil threads and premium thread types used in drilling equipment
  • Machine and manufacture components for:
    • OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods)
    • Drill Pipe (DP) and Heavy Weight Drill Pipe (HWDP)
    • Oilfield accessories and premium connectors
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Perform trigonometric calculations for machining operations
  • Use and calibrate precision measurement instruments
  • Operate and program CNC machines for production tasks
  • Ensure high standards of quality control and dimensional accuracy

Job Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial machining
  • Strong background in lathe operations and CNC machining environments

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of oilfield threading systems (standard and premium types)
  • Strong understanding of machining requirements for OCTG, DP, and HWDP components
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation
  • Ability to use precision measuring and calibration tools
  • Strong knowledge of technical drawings, mathematics, and physics

Language Skills

  • Good command of spoken and written English
