Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server, storage, and networking equipment to ensure 99.9% availability.
- Perform routine health checks, firmware upgrades, and patch management.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement optimization strategies.
- Coordinate with security teams to enforce compliance with data protection standards.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for incident response.
- Manage capacity planning and resource allocation to support growth.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware troubleshooting and warranty claims.
- Participate in on‑call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
- Ability to script in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or CompTIA Server+ are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ hands‑on experience managing data center operations, including hardware maintenance, network configuration, and performance tuning. Prior experience in a multinational technology environment is advantageous, as is exposure to cloud platforms like Huawei Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and annual salary reviews are part of the total rewards structure.
