Job Overview
The Data Privacy Officer will lead Vodacom Angola’s privacy program, ensuring compliance with Angola’s data protection legislation, the African Union’s Convention on Cyber Security, and international best practices such as GDPR. - Provide expert legal and regulatory advice to cross‑functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and Customer Service.
- Monitor and audit data processing activities to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate privacy risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Angola Data Protection Authority and manage all regulatory inquiries.
- Lead privacy awareness training programs for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate privacy controls into security frameworks.
- Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
