Job Overview
Kaspersky Cybersecurity Angola is seeking a skilled Digital Forensics Analyst to join its Namibe-based team. This role involves investigating cyber incidents, analyzing digital evidence, and developing strategies to prevent future breaches. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced technical skills to support Angola’s growing demand for secure digital environments while contributing to global cybersecurity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify, preserve, and analyze electronic evidence from cyber incidents.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams to provide expert testimony and documentation for cybercrime cases.
- Develop and implement protocols for secure data recovery and system restoration post-breach.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive security measures for organizational protection.
- Train local teams on best practices for digital forensics and cybersecurity compliance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite).
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and malware analysis.
- Experience with Angolan cybersecurity regulations and international standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA).
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in digital forensics or cybersecurity roles.
- Proven track record in handling complex cyber investigations.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
