Job Overview
The E‑commerce Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end online sales ecosystem for Coca‑Cola HBC Angola. Reporting to the Head of Digital Commerce, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all e‑commerce activities, including platform management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and customer experience. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—marketing, sales, finance, IT, and supply chain—to ensure seamless integration of online and offline channels. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the e‑commerce strategy aligned with corporate growth targets.
- Manage relationships with third‑party marketplace partners, ensuring optimal product listings, pricing, and promotions.
- Oversee order processing, inventory allocation, and last‑mile delivery to guarantee on‑time fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain and enhance the e‑commerce platform, ensuring scalability and security.
- Analyze sales data, traffic metrics, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead a team of e‑commerce specialists, providing coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
- Coordinate with finance to monitor revenue, margins, and cost‑to‑serve for online channels.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and data protection laws.
- Drive digital marketing initiatives in partnership with the Marketing department to boost traffic and conversion rates.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and marketplace ecosystems.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership experience with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
- Knowledge of FMCG supply chain dynamics and last‑mile logistics.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSCP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of five years managing e‑commerce operations, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector. Experience in emerging markets, especially in Sub‑Saharan Africa, will be highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards.
