Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in structuring, evaluating, and managing the financial aspects of TotalEnergies’ renewable projects in Angola. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will collaborate with engineering, legal, and commercial teams to develop robust financial models, assess investment viability, and ensure compliance with both local regulations and international financing standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for renewable energy projects, including cash flow forecasts, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential project partners, lenders, and off‑take agreements to mitigate financial risk.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and presentations for senior leadership and external investors.
  • Monitor project performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with Angolan financial regulations and international financing standards.
  • Support the negotiation of financing terms, loan agreements, and equity structures.
  • Provide regular financial reporting and KPI dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax and incentive applications related to renewable energy projects.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or specialized software.
  • Strong understanding of project finance, especially in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in English; Portuguese fluency is highly desirable.

Education

Experience

Salary
