Key Responsibilities

• Design and model renewable energy systems (solar, wind, hybrid) using specialized software.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for energy projects in Angola.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists to ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and project proposals for stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in energy design software (e.g., HOMER, PVsyst).
• Strong analytical skills for energy modeling and optimization.
• Knowledge of Angolan energy regulations and environmental policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental) or Environmental Science. Advanced degrees in Renewable Energy or Sustainable Development are a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in renewable energy system design, preferably in emerging markets. Project management experience in energy sectors is advantageous.

Salary

2,500,000 – 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and project impact.
