Job Overview

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing Glocore’s procurement processes for mining equipment, consumables, and services. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the analyst will conduct market analysis, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate contracts that deliver cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and compliance. This position offers exposure to both local and international suppliers, providing a comprehensive view of the global commodities market. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate procurement data in the ERP system and generate regular reports for senior management.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance with Angolan mining regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of mining equipment, consumables, and service contracts.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable.

Education
