Job Summary
The Experienced Technician / Rotating Machines Team Leader will coordinate technical teams responsible for dismantling, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining rotating equipment used in industrial and Oil & Gas operations.
The successful candidate will supervise workshop maintenance activities, ensure mechanical intervention quality, monitor spare parts inventory, and prepare detailed intervention reports while maintaining compliance with API standards and customer technical requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (JD)
The Technicien expérimenté / Chef d’Equipe Machines Tournantes will be responsible for:
Rotating Equipment Maintenance & Technical Supervision
- Coordinating technicians responsible for inspection, dismantling, assembly, testing, and maintenance of rotating machines including pumps, compressors, reducers, and mechanical systems.
- Planning, organizing, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensuring equipment reliability, performance, and operational safety standards are maintained.
- Supervising workshop operations and technical intervention activities.
Technical Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Ensuring compliance with API 610 / API 682 standards and client technical specifications for pumps, compressors, and reducers.
- Monitoring the quality of mechanical interventions including alignment, balancing, diagnostics, and vibration analysis.
- Performing troubleshooting and mechanical performance analysis for rotating equipment.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and maintenance procedures.
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
- Monitoring spare parts inventory and maintenance consumables.
- Anticipating critical spare part requirements to avoid operational disruptions.
- Receiving, inspecting, and validating replacement parts supplied by clients or procurement teams.
- Supporting warehouse and workshop coordination regarding mechanical components.
Reporting & Documentation
- Preparing detailed technical intervention reports after maintenance activities.
- Documenting metrology results, balancing reports, testing records, photographs, observations, and maintenance recommendations.
- Reporting operational updates to workshop supervisors and technical managers.
- Maintaining documentation traceability including reports, equipment reception forms, and maintenance records.

Education Requirements
Applicants should possess:
