Job Overview
Ecolab Angola is seeking a Water Treatment Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize water purification systems in industrial and municipal settings. Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the installation of water treatment systems for industrial clients
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate water quality and system requirements
- Develop customized solutions for wastewater recycling and desalination projects
- Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with Angolan environmental regulations
- Provide technical support for system maintenance and performance optimization
Required Skills
- Expertise in water treatment technologies (membrane filtration, UV disinfection, etc.)
- Proficiency in CAD software for system design
- Strong analytical skills for water quality testing and reporting
- Experience with SCADA systems for real-time water monitoring
- Bilingual (Portuguese and English) preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage
Experience
- 3-5 years in water treatment system design and implementation
- Proven track record in industrial water management projects
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and technical expertise.
