Job Overview
The Satellite Communications Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of satellite‑based network solutions, ensuring seamless integration with terrestrial infrastructure. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and performance monitoring to guarantee high‑quality service rollout in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for satellite communication deployments, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication between engineering, procurement, legal, and local authorities.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and cost targets.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and quality assurance for satellite equipment and services.
- Ensure compliance with national telecommunications regulations and international standards.
Required Skills
- Strong project management expertise, preferably PMP or PRINCE2 certified.
- In‑depth knowledge of satellite communication technologies, frequency planning, and network integration.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and data analysis tools.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
