Job Overview
This role is part of Angola’s growing focus on sustainable agriculture and food security. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of sustainable agriculture projects in collaboration with local farmers
- Develop and execute climate-smart farming techniques tailored to Angola’s ecological conditions
- Coordinate with government agencies and NGOs to secure funding and resources for agricultural initiatives
- Monitor project progress and report on outcomes to stakeholders
- Provide training to local communities on sustainable farming practices
Required Skills
- Proven experience in agricultural project management
- Knowledge of sustainable farming techniques and environmental regulations
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to work in remote rural locations
- Proficiency in project planning software (MS Project, Gantt charts)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in agricultural development projects
- Experience working in Angola or other African countries preferred
Salary
500,000 – 800,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
