Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Huambo, Angola. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to improve agricultural productivity and efficiency in Angola. The role will involve working closely with farmers, agricultural professionals, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital solutions to improve agricultural productivity and efficiency in Angola
- Work closely with farmers, agricultural professionals, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving agricultural productivity and efficiency in Angola
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural professionals, and government officials
- Provide training and support to farmers and agricultural professionals on the use of digital agriculture solutions
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital agriculture or related field
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and challenges in Angola
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
