Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments for proposed infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical reports for regulatory submissions to Angolan environmental authorities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into project planning
• Monitor and evaluate post-construction environmental performance
• Develop mitigation plans to minimize ecological disruption
• Engage with local communities to address environmental concerns

Required Skills

• Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis
• Strong knowledge of Angolan environmental legislation
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to conduct field surveys in remote locations
• Experience with environmental monitoring software
• Bilingual (Portuguese and English) preferred

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s) in environmental management are advantageous.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment projects, preferably in Angola or neighboring regions. Experience with mining or energy sector projects is a plus.

Salary

2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
