Job Summary
The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance operations assigned under their discipline while ensuring all interventions comply with company standards, maintenance procedures, and international Oil & Gas operational practices.
The role involves close collaboration with planning teams, technical specialists, and subcontractors while managing maintenance execution using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Key Duties and Responsibilities (JD)
The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for:
Mechanical Maintenance Supervision
- Organizing and supervising on-site mechanical maintenance operations under assigned responsibility.
- Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Oil & Gas production equipment and systems.
- Monitoring maintenance quality, technical execution, and operational reliability.
- Ensuring efficient maintenance intervention planning and completion.
Planning & Technical Support
- Assisting maintenance planning teams by providing technical input and discipline-specific expertise for job preparation.
- Supporting specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC) during technical interventions.
- Reviewing maintenance priorities and ensuring readiness for offshore maintenance activities.
HSE Compliance & Operational Safety
- Ensuring strict adherence to Company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, particularly work permit procedures.
- Promoting safe work practices and ensuring maintenance activities align with approved operational procedures and industry standards.
- Monitoring offshore maintenance activities to ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
CMMS & Technical Reporting
- Managing maintenance interventions using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Reviewing intervention reports within CMMS, including contractor and specialist activities.
- Preparing technical maintenance reports related to mechanical systems and maintenance performance.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and operational documentation.
Team Leadership & Knowledge Transfer
- Mentoring maintenance personnel and supporting technical knowledge transfer within teams.
- Promoting skill development and operational learning among junior technicians.
- Supporting workforce performance improvement and technical competency development.

Education Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Higher National Diploma (HND/HNC), BTS/DUT, Certificate, or Equivalent Technical Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or Related Discipline (Required).

Experience Requirements

- 5–10 years of professional experience in maintenance operations within Oil & Gas production facilities.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance supervision on offshore or industrial installations.
- Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
- Prior experience coordinating multidisciplinary maintenance teams and contractors.
- Experience working under offshore operational conditions and remote site environments.
