Job Overview
The Agricultural Technology Specialist will lead the implementation and support of precision farming tools, data analytics platforms, and equipment integration projects for commercial and smallholder farms in the Huambo province. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy precision agriculture hardware such as GPS‑guided tractors, variable rate applicators, and sensor networks.
- Develop data collection protocols and integrate farm management software with John Deere Operations Center.
- Conduct on‑site training sessions for farmers and extension officers on the use of digital tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with local research institutions to pilot innovative agronomic models and evaluate performance metrics.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Generate detailed reports on technology adoption rates, yield improvements, and cost‑benefit analyses for internal stakeholders.

Required Skills

Education
