Key Responsibilities
- Lead forensic investigations into financial irregularities, fraud, and misconduct across various sectors.
- Analyze complex financial data, transaction records, and digital evidence to uncover hidden patterns.
- Prepare comprehensive investigative reports and expert testimony for litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and audit teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Utilize data‑analytics tools and forensic software to enhance investigative efficiency.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local and international anti‑fraud regulations and standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on forensic methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in forensic accounting software (e.g., ACL, IDEA) and data‑visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality handling.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Education
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or equivalent are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to the forensic accounting profession.
Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of five years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, audit, or related fields. Experience working with multinational clients or within the Angolan regulatory framework will be considered an advantage.
Salary
